Wednesday 2/12/15 WAMS AWARD PRESENTATION EVENING

This evening Andy and I joined WAMS-Working Age Multiple Sclerosis Support Group for their Awards evening.

As we walked in to a round of applause, we felt the wonderful atmosphere in the room generated by the members of the club. Some of them had sticks or Zimmer Frames, but there was no sense of self pity at all. Although as the title of the group suggests, they were mostly young people.

I presented awards for fundraising by members who had abseiled or in one case, run The Great South Run. After the awards, we joined one of the four teams for their Quiz. Our team came second.
