This morning in a simple service outside St Faith’s Church in Havant,alongside the War Memorial, we Commemorated the Fallen from War and Conflicts across the years. Around 100 people gathered to show their respects and stand for the two minute sIlence.

This afternoon, I met with members of both Havant and Hayling Island Lions Clubs to discuss the latest requests for funding from our Community Chest.
We are sending cheques immediately to four applicants, the Lions are investigating two others on our behalf and two were rejected as not fitting our criteria.
The Community Chest is available for smallish pots of funding for Charities, Community Groups and good causes, within the Havant Borough.
It is lovely to send immediate help to such worthwhile local causes.
