This evening, in the company of Cllr Michael Cheshire MBE and his wife Wendy, we were  the guests of the National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Assocation at their Trafalgar Night Dinner.

We had a lovely evening in good company. There was a display from Cadets and Staff of Trainng Ship Active  and Michael Cheshire gave us a very amusing, effortless talk about Trafalgar Night on HMS Victory. I had the pleasure of presenting Help the Heroes medals to three cadets for their fundraising efforts

This afternoon Andy and I visited the Greywell and Park Parade Shopping Centre in Leigh Park. We were asked to judge both the children’s Fancy Dress competition and the Best Dressed Shop window. What a hard choice we had, there were some very good enteries for both.

We finally those the Best Dressed Shop and 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the Children’s Fancy Dress.

Friday 30/10/15 Halloween Quiz, at The Plaza

October 31, 2015

We held the traditional Halloween Quiz at The Plaza in aid of The Mayor of Havant’s Community Chest last night. 17 teams fought hard for the honour of winning the trophy. The winners who also won last time, were brilliant, very clever, particularly as there were only four of them, not the usual six.

We are very grateful to so many HBC Officers and their wives who help us make the evening such a success and help our fundraising.

Friday 30/10/15 FLASH Halloween Party

October 31, 2015

What great fun all the children were having at the party, dressed up as so many of them were in their Halloween costumes. Very scary too some were. The party organised by Family Liaison Autism Support Havant was attended by many excited children and parents at the Leigh Park Community Centre.
