Friday 3/7/15 Duke of Edinburgh Awards in Winchester

We were happy to see five young Havant residents receive their Gold DoE awards in the Great Hall tonight.

They had all worked so hard and had amazing adventures to attain them.

Emily Gissing, Kirsty Lane, Megan Lane,Thomas Moncreaff and Rachael Walker. We will try and arrange for us all to have tea in the Mayor’s Parlour.

Friday 3/7/15 Horizon Lesisure Centre new extension

I had the pleasure of opening the new extension of the Waterlooville Leisure Centre today. It has a enlarged gym and a brilliant new World of Play area for the children. A great addition for Borough residents.

They very kindly gave me a cheque to put in my Community Chest from a collection at the centre.
