Presenting Healthy Living Accreditation Awards to the Rowlands Pharmacy at Lavender Road, Waterlooville

Later that morning Hilary and I went to present Healthy Living Accreditation Awards to the Rowlands Pharmacy at Lavender Road, Waterlooville. They were extremely proud to have been awarded this status and took delight in showing us both the extra skills and knowledge that they had acquired and able to use for their clientele. Both Hilary and I had our blood pressures taken in a separate little side room. Customers coming in were assuring us of the good service that the pharmacy offers. Well done Rowlands Pharmacy!

Waving the children from Glenwood School off on their Rotary trip to Paulton’s Park

 

On Wednesday 11 June, I was invited to wave off the children from Glenwood School, Emsworth on their annual trip to Paulton’s Park organised by Havant Rotary.  I was accompanied by Cllr Hilary Farrow; it was a delight to see the excitement on the Year 7 children’s faces as they waited to set off.  The Year 13 youngsters came to wave them off as well, it was hard for them to realise that only a few years before they would have been setting off on their trip to Paulton’s Park.  One of the older students asked why they couldn’t have two coaches so that the older children could go as well!
