Easter Fun Day April 1st

This morning Elaine and I went to the Sure Start Centre at Warren Park Primary School for this year’s Easter Fun Day.

We arrived at 9:45 to find that the setting-up was almost finnished and that people were just beginning to arrive to take part in the many events that had been organised.

Outside on the school field there was a bouncy castle for the very young and football and hula hoops for the slightly older. Also outside was a fire engine and a Police van plus a giant Panda.

There were various indoor activities to take part in. These included painting a chickens egg, luckily hard-boiled, and decorating an egg. Both of these were in 4 age categories and Elaine and I had to judge the winners just before the end of the day. We also had to judge the Easter bonnet parade.
