Romsey Feb 8th.

This afternoon we attended the Afternoon Tea event organised by the Mayor of Test Valley, Councillor Dorothy Baverstock.

Several other Civic heads were there, including the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillor Frank Jonas, the Mayor & Mayoress of Gosport and others.

During the afternoon we were given a tour of the Town Council offices by the Town Mayor, Councillor Mark Cooper.

Some very impressive scrolls, photographs and Honours boards adorned many of the walls and the stairs, with the Council Chamber currently undergoing refurbishment before even more boards and pictures are re-hung.

A very pleasant afternoon in good company, raising money for the Test Valley Mayor’s charities.
