This morning we were at the Havant Leisure Centre for a joint presentation by Horizon Leisure and the Hampshire Autistic Society at the launch of Fully Inclusive Activities.

Several stalls were set out to show what the Society and Horizon Leisure can offer to those with special needs. There is a range of activities which are available during the day and, on a Monday evening, the Playzone is available for those young children who need special attention.

Horizon Leisure is looking to expand the activities which they offer to those with Autism and Asperger Syndrome. Their website is http://www.horizonlc.com
Of special interest to those with Autistic children is a special relaxed performance of Jack and the Beenstalk at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. This will take place on Tuesday, January 15th at 1.30. Details of this can be obtained by phoning 023 8071 1811.
