Havant Rotary Sept 24th

Tonight I was invited to attend the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Havant as the guest speaker.

The meeting was held at the Bear Hotel in East Street where I was the guest of the President, Chris Heath.

I was able to meet up with many people that I have known for quite some time, and was able to also make new acquaintances.

Following a very nice meal and, after the usual Rotary announcements, with which, as a member of the Rotary Club of Waterlooville, I was well acquainted, I was asked to give a talk on the mayoral year so far and my plans for the rest of the year. I was able to explain my choice of charities for the year and to give an indication of some of the events that have been planned to raise funds.
