This morning David & Joy Hawkins visited the Mayor’s Parlour to present Elaine & myself with a Gideon’s Bible and a combined New Testament and Psalm Book.
This is a very much appreciated gesture, and each new Mayor has a special presentation copy of the Bible soon after his or her induction.
